Raul Fernandez will be hoping to make it back-to-back victories in the 2025 MotoGP season by winning the
Malaysian MotoGP.

The Aprilia Trackhouse MotoGP Team rider secured a podium spot at the Australian MotoGP on 19 October, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Fernandez started on the fourth grid and went on to win the race, while also finishing second in the sprint event and he accumulated 34 points in Phillip Island.
MotoGP title ambitions
The Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer is now placed 10th in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 146 points from 19 races.
Fernandez is 20 points behind ninth-placed Fabio Quartararo of Yamaha and 37 points behind eighth-placed Fermín Aldeguer of Ducati.

The former KTM rider is brimming with confidence after winning the recent Australian MotoGP, which is his first-ever victory as a MotoGP rider.
Fernandez, who was crowned the 2018 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Champion, has what it takes to win this weekend's race in Pekan Sepang.
What did he say?
“I still don't believe it," Fernandez said after winning the 2025 Australian MotoGP.
"Yesterday in the sprint, Marco had an amazing pace and also Diggia (Fabio Di Giannantonio) in the last part of the Sprint.
"This morning, when I had a meeting with the team, we thought the podium was a realistic position, but I never thought that we had the chance to get the victory.”
